Nyx Reach — The Uncharted Frontier

Nyx Reach is the uncharted frontier beyond the Veil Nebula, where a lone distress beacon still pulses from a whole cluster of worlds nobody has reached.

Status in the conflict: Signal Lost.

Every map has an edge, and this is where the Kingdom's ends. Past the Veil Nebula the charts simply stop, marked with the oldest notation in the Archives: unknown.

Then, recently, a beacon. Faint, patterned, unmistakably deliberate — and old. Something out there is still transmitting, and the Signal Eternal has not been able to decode more than the fact that it is a call for help.

Nyx Reach is the deliberate open door of this saga. The next chapter begins wherever the fleet dares to go, and the fleet has never yet decided that a cry for help was too far away to answer.

Legends tied to Nyx Reach

  • Cipher — The only operative whose gauntlets have picked up the beacon's pattern.

  • Petra — Volunteered for the first crossing before anyone asked for volunteers.

Echo Across the Quiet

A quiet frontier. A half-heard message. Keep the promise, not the spotlight.

At a watched relay on the edge of Nyx Reach, Echo hears a familiar message break through the silence. A neighbouring station is waiting for a reply that never arrived. Your crew stays with the trusted relay keepers, checks the message carefully, and imagines how to carry an honest answer without promising more than it can give.

Faithfulness is carrying the message without making it about yourself. — Agent-SIX33, original fictional dialogue
