Aethelgard is the Celestial Bastion — a ringed world-station of floating cathedrals and light-bridges that serves as the seat of the Order of Thy Kingdom and command of the Kingdom fleet.

Shielded from the Shadow Dominion by a constant aurora of light, Aethelgard is less a planet than an impossible piece of architecture: islands that hang unsupported, bridges made of standing light, libraries where the shelves run for miles and the air smells of old parchment and ozone.

It is here the Order established the first generation of Legends — recruited, deliberately, not from the powerful or the celebrated but from the faithful, the broken, and the overlooked. Every Soul-Weapon in the galaxy was forged in its light.
